[Help] 1 Gigabit conection speed - recommended settings?

Post by veron »

Hello, friends!
You can recommend settings for 1gbit/sec connection to increase the maximum speed? For "SG TCP Optimizer" program or custom changes in the system registry.

I would start with the TCP Optimizer "optimal" settings, with the internet speed slider all the way to the right. The Optimizer documentation and the related articles on the main site can help with info on each setting as well.

Please tell me when I choose the setting "Optimal", reboot the computer,

then re-run the "TCP Optimizer", but in some fields blank or shows other values, why?

Maybe you can suggest settings in the registry for "Gigabit Network"?
Windows 7 x64
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DNScache\Parameters

Hello again veron. It is normal for the TCP Optimizer to show blank lines for some of the optimized settings - they may not be read at program start, or they may be network adapter-specific. I wouldn't worry about it.

As to your Registry parameters, it would depend on your OS - the ones that work in Windows 10 are tuned by the Optimizer, and listed at the bottom of this article: http://www.speedguide.net/articles/wind ... weaks-5077
