outlook 2013 pro plus issue
MS outlook 2013 pro plus was working fine until yesterday. Since then I am receiving the following error "Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC1A) : 'Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified. Try changing the encryption method. Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for additional assistance.'
I haven't changed any settings nor has my ISP. They have tried various things to no avail so I am hoping you guys can help me out.
thx

I am getting this now
Task 'vze2fc3k@verizon.net - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Still getting original error as well.

Still related to Office updates.....was common with many antivirus brands that scanned mail protocols, uninstalling or disabling some AV gave the appearance of fixing it, but the Office updates fixed it.24giovanni wrote:Had to do with bitdefender>web protection>scan ssl. Had to turn it off.

I LoL'd.aaronmvaughn wrote:You cant rename an ost file to pst and you cannot open the ost file with a different MAPI profile, it must be the same one that created the ost file. You cant change the mailbox either. The only possible solution is if you can open the ost file with the origianal MAPI profile connected to Exchange or not, then export data to a post file.Touse the original MAPI profile it must be available of course and you must also authenticate with an account that has permission to open it. (same account that has permission to open the mailbox on Exchange server). You can get PST file from an OST file, if your exchange server is up and connectivity of ms outlook with ms exchange is working properly. You can get .pst file from that configured ost file that is a good ... which can easily convert Achieve the expected results after converting offline & corrupted ost file to outlook pst files. nothing can be better than this,SPAM LINK REMOVED BY SG STAFF
