Apparently i got lost in the shuffle over the Christmas Holidays and when i called to check up they apologized for losing me. My luck.
Anyway i go up to Toronto General on Thurs 13th where i spend the night and am prepped. Operation is on Fri & hopefully i will be released on Sat. to come home.
I lucked out in that the Surgeon they tell me is the best we have. He took an interest in me it seems and is going to go for 2 stents and if that goes alright possibly go for a 3rd one. Apparently that is the best they can do for me. It will be nice to get this over with and hopefully feel more energetic.
Will be here for another day, but figured i should let you know before i forgot to do so.
Looking forward to getting this over with and settling in back home. Worn out from all the tests over these past few months, will be nice to just kick back and relax for awhile.
glad to hear your getting fixed up Larry ,,, go easy on the viagra for awhile XD

Best of luck, Larry- great what they can do now! Cleanin' the pipes is easier than new pipes.... been there done that! You'll be feeling a lot better soon, believe me.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
Just a quick note to let you know Larry made it through his operation OK.
I just talked to his sister and she told me he has to spend one more night in hospital. Something about fluids, but he is talking normal and expects to get out Monday.

Just spoke with Larry and he sounds the best I have heard in a long time. He said he was on the table for four hours, but they managed to get four stints in, and maybe more in the future.
The fluid problem turn out to be his creatinine is higher than they like. They have to wait for the kidneys to flush out all the die they used.
If Larry does not need to go on dialysis he will probably be back on the board Wednesday. We can hope. I will call him tomorrow and find out how things are going.
It is looking good and we should have him around for a few more years.
