I know how to assign an email to a category but I need something different (not sort by conversation), something where I can specifically associate that email with a particular order.
For example: Someone emails me regarding order number "123" and puts that in the body or subject line. Later in the day I get another email from someone regarding this order but since they know we are both talking about the same thing they never really put any identifying data in the email that I can go back to and search for later. How can I associate those 2 emails (sometimes 30 emails)? I'm getting people coming up and asking me questions about orders that are 3 months old and I sit there and remember that there was an email regarding that order but I just can't remember who it was from or what the subject line was. I get 250 - 350 emails a day so things can get buried really fast.
