We are soon to become a 1 PC family. I have setup a separate User Account for my wife. I am always logged in as Admin. Although she has been schooled in safe use practices I still worry about something slipping by and corrupting other data on the computer. We are quite religious about backing up our data, so the loss of any data isn't really an issue. I just want to try and prevent having anything major happen and then having to reinstall or something like that. The extent of her computer use is Web and email.
This is the first time I've ever opened and looked closely at the Local Group Policy Editor. I've noticed that there are some Administrative Templates. I know this is going to be a learning process but I was also wondering if there are any 3rd party templates or where I can go to better understand of what things need to be addressed and which don't?
