It doesn't slow down your PC..but it slows your browsing down...because you gateway is now way out there somewhere . Doesn't matter how powerful your PC is..doesn't matter how fast your internet connection is...you're depending on the speed of the ..eh...open mesh bridged network that you're tunneling through.
