yea, ended up buying it actually. Decided on a smaller tablet, 7". compared the few that are out there and liked this one the best. the 10 inchers including the ipad i think i wouldnt get as much use out of due to a limited mobility. This one can fit an a cargo pocket probably :-pmorbidpete wrote:Guess you decided to go with an Android tablet?
Really couldnt beat the 299. price tag, compared to double that price for a lot of the others. Not planning it on using it in place of my laptop really, just wanted one for travel, to show our families digital pics (without hauling around a laptop) and maybe a little game playing/movie watching. We liked that this one will sync better with our phones (droids) then the apple does and I wasnt really impressed with some of the other ones out there like toshiba, acer and blackberry.
Just got it a couple hours ago, so far it does what i want it to, the only snag Ive hit is im not sure if netflix will run on it for some reason..

if you cant get netflix going i can get you a modded version of the APK that will work. careful with the cargo pocket if you plan on carrying ti in your ACU's. Besides the fact that the velcro sucks, I smashed my phone screen when it was in my cargo(9cant remember why I put it there) getting into my car (car door hit it)
