Meet Friar Tuck

Post by Sava700 »

:rotfl: Man they take this hazing of rookies too far..
Englewood, CO-- The Denver Broncos took rookie hazing to a new level with the haircut they performed on quarterback Tim Tebow.

It's a tradition with the Broncos that rookies get an often unflattering haircut during training camp. That is in addition to all of the pads they have to carry.

Well, the veterans gave the Heisman Trophy winner a Friar Tuck look, shaving the top of his head and the back, leaving the sides, front and beard.

Teammate LenDale White took the photo and posted it on his Twitter page.

I never understood hazing at that age level. When I read about it at police and firefighter stations it just reminds me how immature these people are.

It's more about comradery and forming bonds than it is about maturity level.

If I was paid millions of dollars during my career, I’d cut my own hair like Friar Tuck.
