It left me dumbfounded at the end.

All along I thought he was normal from the beginning.

Yes, I was not happy with the ride they took me on. I did not like the movie.

It was a great movie! Loved the ending. But really, the ending throws you for a loop. He was in fact cured but chose his fate. "I'd rather die a good man than live as a monster." His doctor knew that he was making a rational choice and chose not to stop him because it was his only option to release him from the agony that was his life.
