Jagermeister Alternative

Stuff is 100 proof and taste almost exactly like Jager. I've put this stuff in a jager bottle and had a bunch of people drink it with redbull and nobody ever noticed lol :rotfl:

It's 6 bucks for a pint where I go. I actually prefer this over Jager now. Tell your local store to grab you a bottle.

The stuff was weird...I remember back in college doing what we called an "Hour of power"...before going out for the night, we'd get shot glasses. Bottle of Jager from the freezer, and beers.

We would do 1 shot per minute....alternating 1 shot of Jager on every 5th shot, with 4 shots of beer. So to start, 1 shot of Jager..then a minute later...a shot of beer..then a minute later, another shot of beer...til on the 5th minute back to a shot of Jager.

I recall hearing stories of the history of Jager, originally it had some derivative of opium in it? Then it was pulled from the shelves in the US...returning years later in a more mild form w/o the opiate. Probably just student folk-lore though at colleges.

Always reminded me of a stiff cough syrup.
