i have a netgeer router and am experiancing disscoections whitch have been rugular and i have feers that my firewall have been mingled with
i experiaced things sutch as my desktop icons were dissapering and re-appearing....loss of connection in chatt sites , when i was on a chatt program i behlieve that a 3rd person was listening in on my coversation , my computer would turn on and off at random and my cd case would open and close automatically .it seems like a firewall problem i know possibly with a trogan , i have had several people who have threatened to hack my computer , but i behlieve my router had been hit several times in the past as i see them in the log
i now have a new router , my it specialest said that it is possible that my router had its settings tampered with over the net and for some reason died
i am now waiting on a new router and do not whant the same thing happening
twice
how do i stop this person from hacking my router again
i am going to buy zonealarm pro and scan for viruses and trogans
