Lag spikes!

I just recently got Verizon Fios Wireless and its been working fine with my laptop.....but when it comes to my desktop it will have lag spikes every 5 minutes of playing counterstrike. I have a wireless cisco linksys install and internet connect its decent but obviously not good enough. I tryed to use lan ethernet cord through the lan port of the router but it wouldnt even connect to the internet.

I suggest malwarebytes anti-malware, google it and download it!
