My point was, take your friends 3GS and try gaming on it lol. That's where you'll see much more performance. Earlier you said that you didn't see that much better performance on a 3GS. Also, check out the video editing capabilities and the so very innovative touch based selective focus for photos. That innovation right there will wind up on DSLR's.

I'm finally caving and getting a 3GS.
Touch-screen is rumored for the Nikon D400. I do think the new features for the camera are pretty cutting edge.
For me personally...I wouldn't game on my iPhone outside of something pretty simple. I see that they have Tiger Woods and Assassins Creed out now. The touch screen is pretty small for my fat fingers too.
