Motorola Surf Board 5100 Power Light Blinking?

Motorola Surf Board 5100 Power Light Blinking?

Hello All! For the past 2 days i have been without internet, When looking at my Motorola SB 5100 Modem, All light are as they should be except the Power Light Blinking... Online, Receive, Send, and Cable lights are Solid, and Activity Light blinks as normal, but Power light is Blinking. I cant figure out what it may be, I have read on other forums that it could be a Power Supply issue, Others say its a Self Diagnostics on Boot up... Regardless its still not online and i need suggestions.

No i do not rent the modem form Charter, its mine, So i need a quick fix for it WITHOUT having to drag them in to it... Their Tech Support is BADDDD

Powerlight blinking usually means the modem isn't getting past POST..it's failing. Time to replace it.
