Savings is the enemy of the bailout, high gas prices will force you to spend

Post by JawZ »

The rich ruling elitists will not allow the lower and middle classes to save their way to financial safety.

I recall when I was a child, my grandparents always told me to save my money. SAVE SAVE SAVE!!!

It seems that no matter what we do, we are not allowed to save our money in order to become free of the debt cycle created by the Federal Reserve and their fractional reserve banking paradigm.

Right now, we are being blamed for the elongation of the recession because we're saving our money rather than spending it.

So now they bring out the one tool that will break us once again...high oil prices. We all mostly drive to work....to fund our debt cycle which many of us are trying to break free from by saving our money.

I have information that shows that high oil prices are not tied into demand but rather income. The issue is that gas prices are equal for all classes, rich and poor pay the same while the rich represent the majority of the income levels used to establish the prices set by the oil cartels.

The rich represent the majority wealth of the nation....and it's that figure that sets oil prices. It's the "ability" to pay model. But that model is false.

The rich are even eating their own. When I see college grad couples living in tents in California, that breaks the notion that initiative and education will allow you to have that upward mobility that is the American Dream. These ruling elitists want EVERYTHING at your expense.

Paranoid???

Larry Summers, Tim Geithner and Wall Street's ownership of government

So echoing what the mainstream media is reporting equates to being paranoid?

I can take the pieces of the media puzzle and put them together to be able to see the big picture.

Now if you were to say to me that I was a critical egotistical SOB....I wouldn't disagree one bit.

Remember who I work for and what I am bound to keep secret due to the oath that I willfully and voluntarily have taken. But while I did take an oath, I still have my integrity, my morals, and my ethics that compel me to speak out in order to inform my fellow Americans of what I see as being great injustices to our liberties.

Also, btw, saying that oil prices are driven by profit is a no brainier, however it's going to take a fair deal to prove it is a focused attempted to keep people oppressed. What is happening here is nothing other then capitalism at its finest. We wanted things this way and this is what we get. Greed is fundamental and this is the effect of unchallenged greed. Not of some shadowy slaver group.

The "elitists" most likely are completely aware of the damage they are doing but they don't do it out of a desire to suppress and control. They do it because they lack the proper moral bases in order to sit in such an influential position of power. And this is the result not of corporate conspiracy or secret governmental plots but of a lacking and human moral bases.

The "elitist" do not sit there and go "Oh no people are saving money!". No, they do not care; they do not care about you and they do not care if you are saving money. They seem to only care about opportunity. These people are doing what any typical American would do. Simply seizing the opportunity to make huge amount of cash and the rest be damned.

And this apathy/ignorant whip is, like so much else, nothing but a self-serving proselytizing tool. Understanding and changing the events of the current requires more then economical, political, and being up to date on current events. It would require a vast understanding of the fundamentals of humans and human society; including a deep understanding of American ethics, American philosophy/theology and the science of it all. It would take full time devotion for a single individual. Rather the approach should be an convergence of effort instead of a single focus.

Also, it seems very contradictory to proclaim defense of liberty then demand an enslavement to your ideology.

Calling me paranoid is somehow....ok...Roody?

And I didn't question your intelligence, I said....

So please explain how being ignorant of your own apathy equates to a lack of intelligence?

It's an odd double standard Evan has been preaching for quite some time. Much like the negative rep he sent me a few months ago for remarks comparable to his "ignorant" remark directed at me tonight. Apparently liberty can only be exercised by others if we agree with all Evan preaches in the process.

You know, I have Jerry on ignore so now that I see what is being said, allow me to respond.

I don't recall asking a question in my post.

I don't recall asking for anyone to respond.

I don't recall singling anyone out.

I DO recall telling people to put me on ignore if you find my threads to be disturbing.

What is evident is that you are entering and posting replies/statements freely and willfully.

I'm not going to argue over the content I post because that's what some of you want...an argument. That's why some of you are and have been on ignore for some time....and you aren't coming off anytime soon.

Tough crap. Go fight someone else, maybe Burke will argue with you. I have time to inform folks of what I see as the truth. You are free to post whatever the hell you want as a response. I do not ask you to follow or to even acknowledge me or my existence. I'm doing my part for the greater good.

anyone can save money, it just takes will power to not spend more than you make.

i paid cash for my truck and saved for a 20% down payment on my home, sure i don't have lots of nice things, but what i have is mine.

i find too many people piss away a little money here and there, but if you save it, it adds up in the long term.

I was simply posting a point of view. You came in with an agenda.

Now I am asking a question. Care to give it a whirl and provide an answer?

No you aren't qualified to say that. You are wrong. You have no idea what I do or don't do regarding political or governmental issues. All of us however are well versed in your frustrations in all things governmental.

Back to topic?
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

While I agree with all that you said, it's not what I was speaking about in my post.

People try to save, but the banksters keep devising and developing instruments to wrestle the money you WANT to save from you. their debt model is based on the constant flow of currency into the banking system....so that they can lend more and more and more...and hedge against it, and insure it, and create additional derivatives, etc.

Saving your money stops that cycle, and hurts their bottom line.

Once the market shows signs of growth, gas prices are going to explode. This will vanquish any gains that have been SAVED by the middle working class. You should have a plan to deal with those high gas prices.

One way or the other, they are going to get their money from you and you will conform to their paradigm.

Larry Summers and Tim Geithner...... let's see... who are they? Oh yeah, Obama's boys.... they guy YOU voted for, the guy YOU wanted as the leader of our country. But now all YOU do is complain about him and all of his toadies, but it's YOUR own fault that a lot of this is happening...... so stop spewing your crap here when you are to blame just as much as they are. Unless you were living under a rock during his whole campaign nothing Obama has done should surprise you, you knew his track record and what he stood for and believed in.... yet you still voted for him.

Here is the beloved Alan Greenspan informing everyone that the Federal Reserve is an independent agency and can not be over ruled by any other agency in government. This is the root of many of our problems. We don't elect any of these folks yet they have been given control of our economy.

Even though you are on ignore, a little birdie informed me that I might need to respond to this nonsense....

Craig,

Geithner AND Summers were both part of the Bush administration....that's where they started. Maybe you need to read up on their bio's before making false statements.

I didn't vote for McCain because we would be much worse off...and of course, he had that idiot Palin tagging along. I put up with 8 years of retards, I did not wish to experience 4 more of pure mongoloidism.

Here are the top folks that gave McCain campaign money.
  • Merrill Lynch $371,295
  • Citigroup Inc $320,251
  • Morgan Stanley $271,152
  • Goldman Sachs $230,095
  • JPMorgan Chase & Co $225,557
  • US Government $207,829
  • AT&T Inc $194,913
  • UBS AG $182,079
  • Credit Suisse Group $179,053
  • Wachovia Corp $169,057
  • PricewaterhouseCoopers $167,900
  • US Army $162,870
  • Bank of America $155,251
  • Blank Rome LLP $154,426
  • Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher $150,396
  • Greenberg Traurig LLP $146,437
  • FedEx Corp $132,974
  • US Dept of Defense $131,675
  • Lehman Brothers $125,357
  • Bear Stearns $117,498
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/contr ... tt2=Submit

When McCain crumbled and supported the bailout...that's when I bailed out on the GOP presidential nominee for good.

I voted for Obama because he said on multiple occasions that he was going to withdraw troops from Iraq. I didn't have my Miss Cleo powers to forecast his deceit.

I voted all GOP on the remainder of the ticket because I believe in local politics....and it would be a good counter to any negative policies initiated by Obama.

Not that I owe you any type of explanation but I thought I would set you on your way before I cast you back once and for all onto my ignore list. I know you'll probably have some type of elongated response to all of this so by all means don't let me delay you lol.

Ciao!!!!

P.S. Since Obama is the Commander in Chief (CINC), why is it that when the Army goes into a town and violates Posse Comitatus, you support it? I guess in a way, you support Obama.....

Don't answer that lol :rotfl:

It seems to be the way of SG as of late, posters are paranoid, moderators are paranoind.
If someone says anything, then others take it as a personal attack.
It is just a fact of the times, Americans get all uptight when they're way of life does not go acording to plan, and face it, it's all falling apart right now with full assistance of the government and big business.
I don't think its paranioa, simply trying to get the masses to see the truth.

Chris, my honest to God interest in this is in my fellow American.

Yeah, I got a king sized bug up my ass about apathy. That I will gladly admit.

But I really am not looking to mess with folks....or argue for no good reason. I know that people are busy and have lives. I'm lucky that I have some free time to dedicate towards investigating the news.

the battle for the minds of SG has long been lost. I know that. But if I reach one person...and that person serves as a role model or as a parent to a child...and that child sees the importance of being politically aware and engaged in the securing of their liberties, then I feel as if I've made a difference.

I'm not going to fight with the people that want an argument because they are already engaged in the process and have their minds made up. I need to reach the zombies to wake them up.

But they don't listen, the ones who respond are just looking for the " argument of the day"
Then they go back to their mundane lives.
Thats what PO's me the most. Its all for not, just an ongoing bickering on SG, which takes the enjoyment out of SG for us non agumentitive types.
If people could actually see what is being done to them, then that would be cool, but this little slice of ta heck with the real world has been turned into a CONSTANT REMINDER OF HOW MUCH IT SUCKS, yOU KNOW IT SUCKS, i KNOW IT SUCKS, AND A FEW OTHERS KNOW IT but for the masses here, they don't want to know it sucks because it would ruin their idealistic view of the great ol' USA

It's Jeremy, btw, and obviously, I must be posting for some other reason then to engage you in argument. The fact that I am on your ignore was made perfectly clear to me and as such I never expected an argument out of you. I have just decided to ignore your ignore and speak my mind for my own sake.
I personally don't think SG is the place for it, he should be on a soapbox at the whitehouse....But so be it
You make some good points. Where Evan is wrong though is there is no apathy on my part. I simply do not share his need to make countless threads/posts day in and day out to show my frustration with what goes on. Somehow he incorrectly confuses that with apathy.

And where you are wrong is to say that because I choose to continue the war against apathy and the diminishing of our rights that I'm somehow paranoid. Somehow you have that incorrectly confused.

To top it off...how in the hell can I be paranoid about the government when I just so happen to WORK FOR IT????????????

You think people who work for the Government can't be paranoid about what goes on within it?

See Evan where you made a big mistake is you took that remark as some sort of cheap shot on your character. Sadly, instead of asking if that was a cheap shot on your character you decided to take a "two wrongs make a right" approach and call me ignorant of apathy which you can't even possibly prove. Your first mistake was assuming the worst of my comment and attacking me. My comment was never an attack on your character and I am sorry you somehow think it was.

Truth is we can all be paranoid of things. Just because I stated your disillusionment with government is making you paranoid doesn't mean I was attacking, baiting or insulting you. I was in fact not doing that at all. I was however saying you should try and find things that are good about the system because without doing so you can become bitter. Unfortunately, your comment claiming I am ignorant of apathy was false and inaccurate. Claiming ignorance of any kind towards others is easily seen as an attack. I wish you had understood that point without feeling the need to justify it by attempting to suggest my remarks were an attack on you. Again they were not. Simply an observation that you are finding the worst in a high majority of everything you post about. Life is rough no doubt and our government is screwy, but life can in fact be a good thing.

No Roody, what I know is that I work for a government that I do not fear, so therefore I am not paranoid. the government in general is supposed to work for us and currently they ARE working against us because they are controlled by people that are not represented by the people....we don't vote for them yet they dictate our policy.

when the Fed says they can't be overruled by any other government agency and refuse to disclose where our money is being ciphoned, we as Americans have a problem.

there are many other examples that I have recently posted of where the government is overstepping it's authority. They get away with it because of our collective apathy.

Perhaps you are apathetic since you said "our collective apathy". I however am not. I have taken numerous steps to right the wrongs I have been a part of governmentally and I will continue to do so. Regardless you remain 100% incorrect regarding your "ignorant of apathy" remark directed at me. The way I see it until you recognize that and clarify that remark the way I did about the "paranoid" remark there is little you and I will agree on. I continue to find your remark out of line.

Why did you choose to willfully enter into a thread and derail it from post #2?

Is anything in your post relevant to the subject or the content I posted?
