I've been considering grabbing a solid state drive from Newegg to put run my OS and games on, but haven't been able to find any decent, and current, information on them. Most of the reviews I found only gave some specs on the units, but no side by side comparisons. It could be that my searching skills just suck.
I am currently considering one of the OCZ drives at Newegg, or something similar for around $100. Anyone have any thoughts or links to current reviews?

Seen some reviews at Toms....
What seems to be going for them is mind blowing read speeds, yet write speeds aren't up there yet, actually good fast standard drives can edge past them in write speeds.
Another one I came across last week as I'm making a list of parts to get to build a Windows 7 rig at home this summer...pondering an SSD or a new WD Raptor.

Note the last paragraph at the conclusion of the above article talking about Intels new X25.
