Inside source reveals FEMA & DHS preparing for mass graves and martial law -Chicago'
An Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago reveals the contents of his meetings with FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The initial requests seem reasonable enough when FEMA asks the county officials to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan to deal with flooding, fires, high winds and tornadoes.
But as the required meetings and calls with FEMA and DHS continue over a two year period their request become more unusual, raising suspicions of county officials;

I'm not going to come out and call it crackpot, that's rude.
Try and see the situation from a natural disaster perspective, it mitigates some of the "oh god the governemnt is commin to get us" vibe you can most certainly ascribe to the content of the questions.
Mass graves? Well if something real bad (say a huge toxic gas mishap in a populated place) happened the bodies HAVE to be taken care of otherwise diseases tend to go haywire.
400k mass evac from Chicago? Hell a small scale earthquake could force more than that out of the city, they gotta have somewhere to hang out till the homes get rebnuilt.
Hardening the police and fire station? That one kinda worries me, I do not see a clear reason as to why those facilities would need protection above and beyond other infrastructure.
That .223 ammo quip....I'm thinking that the feds said that no FEDERAL ammo is going to be forthcomming, can still grab all the Wolf/PMC/Remington...etc you might want to get I'd think.

Having participated in numerous FEMA/SEMO drills, it is really not as outlandish as it sounds. The idea is to try and overtax the system on paper, find the fatal flaws before an actual event.
Weird scenarios for sure, but I can see the thought process behind the drills.

There is some thought that a attack to test Obama would occur on his own past turf- Chicago. Evidently someone (who may or may not be a "crackpot",according to Brembo), in authority is taking steps to prepare for it.
I found it to be a interesting read. I wasn't trying to have people race to a shelter?
Thanks for the analysis Jon, the whole article makes more sense as you have explained it.

Remember the terrorist attack drills/scenarios which were being run on 9/11?knightmare wrote:There is some thought that a attack to test Obama would occur on his own past turf- Chicago. Its pretty much the other way around.. we need Universal Healthcare.. there are too many people dying now from the lack of care they can't afford cause of how our health industry has gotten greed drivin. Its time we follow along with other countries and implement this action to prevent those mass graves being needed for lack of health care.JBrazen wrote:May as well get the mass graves ready once Universal Healthcare is put in place.
Read up on how bad and corrupt the national healthcare system is in England, a small country in comparison, and then let me know if we need it.Sava700 wrote:Its pretty much the other way around.. we need Universal Healthcare.. there are too many people dying now from the lack of care they can't afford cause of how our health industry has gotten greed drivin. Making preparations in the face of an increasing number of natural disasters. While an unpleasant topic, I suppose it is worthy of discussion by agencies who must deal with catastrophic events.
