Web filter suggestions for a school

Post by Roody »

For those of you who might know do you have any suggestions on web filter software for an educational environment. We would need something that allows for stricter policy over student access and more open policy towards staff. Right now our current web filter is severely limited and we are looking elsewhere.

Any kind of suggestions would be appreciated.

I have a recommendation for you. I don't know it suits your needs but i use it to filter internet within my company. I guess the purpose is the same only the place is different. http://www.cyclope-series.com/internet- ... tware.html

Untangle with the eSoft filter
