Ethernet Card

Post by delphi17857 »

I have a computer with Windows 98 233mhz 32mb memory and a slot for wireless ethernet card, (32 bit I think). I need a good and hopefully, fairly cheap ethernet card to get on the internet. My first option was to get a fresh copy of Windows 98se. I have a card that would work with 98se (Linksys WPC11). They want to much money for 98se so now I am looking for a reliable card to run on my 98 operating system. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Upgrading Windows 98 to SE would cost about as much as a new wireless network card, so you may want to do that instead.

Bought 98se

I broke down and purchased a 98se OS. I got it at a good price and now I can use my Linksys card. Thanks for your reply. I will let everyone know how I made out.
