Blue Angels #7

Post by Indy »

Caught this during my lunch break today. I was only able to get a single shot off, and could only do it from a distance. Can't wait to catch them in action this spring when I head up to Indy around the beginning of June when they'll be at the Indianapolis Air Show...

Would love to see them with the F-18s......I had seen them a few times years ago when they strapped on the A-4s.

The F-18 show is great, but the A-4 show was just as good...saw them in their last year with the A-4s...I think it was around '84 or so...down in Pensacola, they have the A-4s hanging in a diamond formation in the lobby of the Naval Aviation Museum on base...if you ever get a chance to go there, it's a must

The naval aviation museum is the best museum that I have ever visited. We spent almost 8 hours there and still did not see everything. As far as I know the outside displays on the runways are still close from the hurricane. When we were there the blue angles, and fat albert were practicing. That is one of the great things about working at NAS JAX, is when they come to town I go to the flight line and watch them practice. It still amazes me every time i see them.
