ABC News has an interactive map you can use to create your own final electoral college tally.
http://www.abcnews.go.com/politics/vote2008
My total came out to:
Obama 387
McCain 151
Use this tool and select your states, then post here with your totals. Whomever is closest to the actual total gets a ONE YEAR premium subscription to SG, on my dime. Naturally, if I'm closest, ya'll get zip.
Partisans, engage.

official bid-
Obama- 311
McCain- 227
(McCain gets florida, keeps missouri and NC. Obama squeaks by in Ohio, gets virginia and pennsylvania).
What I hope will happen and think is the best case scenario for obama (not my bet)
Obama- 346
McCain- 191

I believe Missouri has picked the winner in all but one election in the previous one hundred years.

Yes, Gore lost TN, his own state... IMHO, what the voters vote in the candidates home state says a lot...

I assume you're talking about Obama? I'm sure he will. There were polls last week that indicated that McCain might be in trouble in Arizona but I'm sure he'll pick that one up fairly easily.

Yeah Obama should easily win Illinois. I think McCain will win Arizona ultimately also, but that one appears more in play.
