Just got done with 6 weeks of intense work, just finished a sea trial after 5 weeks of crew training. 60 hours a week plus. How is everyone? I am spent, just catching back up with regular life.

Lefty, do you get to ride out to sea during these trials? I think that would be pretty awesome if you do.

Yes Toby I ride every sea trial for the Arleigh Burke Class Destroyers built in Maine. I am a specialist in Anti-Air Warfare and well versed in all other warfare areas. I also specialize in ships survivability. Its funny how an ex Coast Guardsman is now working for the Navy.

I just noticed the picture you posted a link to. I was wondering if I had worked that hull and when I looked up the 67 it is the USS Cole, the one that got bombed. I did not work that hull, it was built in Mississippi.

5 weeks of crew training (inport) 12-15 hours days, then 4 days at sea. I wouldn't worry about dropping the soap no that you are out.

Locked down on the boat for 5 weeks moared to the pier? That would suck.
