k7pro agp question

I have an athlon 800 with a geforce mx 32mb. My question is this:

The geforce can handle 4x agp but the k7pro atxir3 (northbridge irongate chipset)mainboard says it only does 1/2x agp. Can I use a program to enable the card to use the 4x agp or not?

Will the board support the 4x agp?

no, your stuck with AGP2x, but that isn't a bad thing cause no games even use the full potential of AGP2x. Adn the diff between them is 1-2 fps
