Hello. I needs some help getting The Sims running. When I try to start the game I get an error that says. In blue across the top. "A debugger has been detected." Than the error message is "Unload the debugger and try again".

I have follow the steps on Microsoft Help and Support here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;812759

But no luck and I can't find an amdfix.sys file.

I tried updating my graphic drivers which are ati mobile radeon xpress 1100. I am on an aspire 5050 notebook with Windows XP sp2. It has a amd turion 64 X2 mobile processor.

Any suggestion would be cool.

I got it fixed. Just updated xp to service pack 3 and it worked.
