Post by yurij_14 »

Anyone know where I can find a updated Win2k driver for the 3dfx Banshee. The one from creative labs. At their site they only have win95/98.....

Thanks

Try the ones for 98. They should work! I don't think this card has drivers out yet for win me. I have the same card and use the 98 drivers with me in my other computer and they work fine. I search every where and cannot find Me drivers for this card. If you run across any let me know. maybe you will hve better luck.

Hi Storm90

i just came across this now while surfing ???

you'll have to decide on this one, but here

you go

http://212.250.187.36/drivers4.html

These drivers are beta and as such are not supported by 3dfx or x3dfx.

These drivers are not packaged with 3dfx tools.

You will need a previous version of your 3dfx graphics card's driver already installed on your system.

You can then use these kits to upgrade your driver files.

hi Storm90 & yurij-14

just came across this on 3dfx, thought it might be of interest to you.

These are the latest graphics drivers for your 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 or 3000 AGP/PCI-based graphics accelerator under Win9x. This driver kit includes 2D display drivers, Glide 2.6, Glide 3.1, and DirectX (Direct3D and DirectDraw). These drivers support Intel-, Cyrix-, and AMD 3DNow-based CPUs.

Plus you may wish to look at the overclocking article their as well
