I think I got a good deal. On top of that, my company reimburses $300 for home computers....so that's now $450 laptop.
Anyway, I need your suggestions as to the kind of wireless router to get. It has to have at least one wired port for my switch. I currently have a Linksys cable modem, router and 16 port switch. I'd like to simply replace the router and I don't really care which model/company. Of course, I'm worried about security and all that. It would just be used for our house and would be in the upstairs office. The laptop would be used mostly downstairs. I'd like to keep it below $100 and while cheaper the better, I realize sometimes you need to pay to get something worth while. Your suggestions and/or links are welcome! If there are good "wireless for noobs" websites out there, I'd be interested in them too. I did look over the links on speedguide, but if there are others, by all means...send them.
Thanks!!
