World of Warcraft latency

Post by Venii »

Hey

I get high latency in World of Warcraft in some servers (private) were my usally latency was 220, and now it is pretty laggy (330) may at the login server too, like 4-6 seconds to get to character list, i did alot of stuff like:
Ad-ware, Spybot S&D, eTrust anti-virus and more (afraid i did something wrong :P). I also noticed 1 time that the MS got fixed stable-faster at Night time 22:00+ it was i think, rest of the day really laggy.

here is example to a server Tracert Image

any help is great =], i also ask if i need to do some tweaking ? something with TCP/IP Optimizer? or if needed results of TCP/IP Analyzer?

Tyvm.

You on DSL?

Grab the tcp optimizer http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php , select optimal settings and move the slider to the speed that you pay for.

Also clear out any ethernet cable clutter and make sure theres nothing interferring with it liek an unsheilded speaker.

Well over 150ms is probably gonna be laggy to some extent.

You can call your ISP and ask if theres any issues on their side. Not a lot can be dont about lag from tweaks, but a couple of those pictures looked liek you had issues at your end.

Do you connect wirelessly?

No Wirelessely.

btw myb I need to Install some drivers ? Network/Sound/Mouse (have no idea about those i heared in another thread pretty much the same problem) or do some stuff with Hijackthis etc...?
