Hi Mark
XP Pro
Amd Athlon 64x6000+/64bit
Asus M2N-E SLI
NVDIA GeForce 7300 GT
2 Gig Corsair DDR2_800
Ultra 600 watt psu
Maxtor 200/Maxtor120
Ya really think I outta do that on dial up?
I have been reading on it however, and followed yours and YoS thread on it too. I have a ton of "stuff" yet to do on her, but she is folding 504 for the time being. Did a whale of a lot of bartering with a huge yard sale as well to put this one together in celebration, and a give back for being cancer free 21 years!

Congratulations on being cancer free 21 years!.
The SMP client has a very large upload file and is not recommended for dial-up Internet connection. Some SMP WU uploads are 45MB in size.
Some donors with dial-up Internet service could not upload that size file completely, taking many hours, before their service provider would turn of their Internet connection.
The WU has to be completely uploaded in one connection to Stanford's server to get credit. Then the whole WU has to start the upload again from the beginning and they could never upload the WU completely. Also some service providers has a cap on the amount of upload bandwidth per month.
Take care.
See you later alligator. Cajun Don.
