I recently started having problems with the old trusty ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. Every time I reboot, I have to reinstall drivers to get the thing recognized in device manager. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, done the DriverCleaner hokey pokey and nothing works.
Just wondering if this is a software issue or if the card is on its way out.
That's pretty interesting. My first guess would be that Windows is corrupted and not saving something properly (registry settings, driver settings, etc.). I would try reinstalling Windows first, if that doesn't work, try another vid card.
