Lions!

I really love lions.

They're just amazing, amazing cats. I'm even thinking of getting a tattoo of a lioness on my arm.

Lions! They're just so beautiful, unbelievably powerful, fierce, elegant, brave - and the females are really good mommies. Doesn't hurt that the cubs are adorable too.

Lions!

Post a pic of your favorite animal, and tell me why you love it.

Cheetah...sleek, fast, good looking cat IMO

The Osprey....I love birds of prey..and living on the shoreline...we have lots of sea eagles around. I love hearing their calls when they're zooming around with other ospreys, and it's neat watching them dive into the water with a big splash...as they attempt to snag dinner.

Tigers used to be my favorite cat :) They're pretty cool.. and HUGE. I saw a white tiger at Marine World last year, and it was so big it didn't even look real. In the past couple years I've watched a ton of lion shows though, and just sort of fell in love with them.

YeOlde - Cheetahs are great. So laid back (most of the time). My dream is to go to Africa and have a cheetah jump up into my safari vehicle like this one:

ignore the girl whispering "i want it out of the car!". what does she expect the guy to do, tell it to leave? :wth:

Birds of prey are cool too. I like the California Condor:

It's so good to see our national symbol make a comeback. Love seeing them perched on old tree tops....scanning the water below them. They tend to frequent river valleys in our area.

ooh...I see Bald Eagles all the time....there are several nesting pairs in the river valley near where I live....super to cool to hear them ...the really cool thing is that they just started nesting again in the are within the last 10 years or so... throw in the hundreds of red tailed hawks, owls and peregrines flying around I'm spoiled with a decent variety to look at.

My favorite creatures have already been mentioned, except one. White tiger, bald eagles, hawks and wolves have always been in the totally awesome field. I would like to add both the golden and red fox species. Beautiful critters!

I just came back from the Fort Worth Zoo and I couldn't help but be in awe of how beautiful the white tiger was there. At one point, the tiger and I were eye level through the glass. We just stared at each other for a second. It was beautiful.

To you. He was probably thinking, "Lunch is so close, why is this barrier stopping me from enjoying my lunch!?"

I'd still be there! David Copperfield used to perform with two white tigers. I think I was the last one out of the auditorium!! :rotfl:
