A friend is trying to un install 2000 to many hardware conflicts (yes I look at the hcl list)he doesss have some hardware not compatible he wants to re vert back to 95 (god only knows why) but he just wants to un- install 2000 and not loose any of his files
is there a way I can not seem to locate any of the info in my windows 2000 curriculum book I dont know why he wants to get rid of it. any assistance would be great
You can convert to NTFS but not revert back to fat16 or fat32. if he has enough space or another hd partition it as fat16 or 32 depending on what version of windows95 he wanting to use and just move every thing to it reformat the main hd as fat16 or 32 depending on what version of 95 he reverting back too move the files and programs back over and install over them again same files will be over writen other files in the respected folders won't and prgram setting will remain for the most part.
