Like I wanted my Xbox to get any hotter than it already does. These things are like mini ovens. You'd be required to have an Ntercooler or something similar to run F@H.

At least they can use the PS3 for something else.

from their forums
then keep your folding, i dont mean any disrespect to sufferers of Alzheimer's but my 360 is for games.

Out of the the 2-3 million PS3s sold only around 30,000 actually used this and it will get less and less as time goes by. Even though it is supposedly a good cause I don't see it becoming popular and who is he to know how powerful a CPU is? Sounds like he got some bread for saying this. I wouldn't put it past Sony.

Yet all games on 360 look better and run better then PS3 versions.

Good thing I want to play games and not fold protein or I would be screwed.

There is nothing so powerful like buying $ 700 console to run protein folding @ home, err no thank you I bought my 360 to play games
Well, they do have a point ...

i agree, some of the points are valid, was just really hoping for it. granted it wouldnt be as good as the ps3, its could still keep up wiht a pc if not better than most home user's pc's.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Pande Group got some 'donations'. Hell Sony needs to find some way to sell their PS3s!
