Rims/tires for the 2003 Cobra

Post by MadDoctor »

Was thinking about 17 X 9 rims
255/40ZR17

*edit*

Got them. They work just fine! :)

I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't stock cobras come with 275's on the rear? I had a friend with a 4.6 with the 5.2 stroker kit in it that had a set of 255s on the rear. Long story short with these tire he never had traction when he got on it. He ended up putting a set of 275 nitto 555s and never had another issue. This might be something to look into if you get traction issues.

Not really looking for traction. I like blue/white smoke rolling off the back tires better than a solid hole shot. ;)

*edit*

I bought the car at a police auction. Still had drugs taped to the top of the transmission.

*checks rule book*

Lets see here... page 87, paragraph 1: "Those who call shens on another person and that person proves the point of said "shens" is owed an agreed to amount, or an amount determined by the person "shens" was said against."

I want a picture of your pet to satisfy the "shens" rule.
