I hear a lot of complaints about flowmaster being restrictive, probably the cheapest, bet the borla would sound awesome :thumb:

The best sounding exhaust would depend a lot on the engine make and exhaust design. And best flow would also depend on the engine. Some require more backpressure for optimal power while other engines run better with less ristriction.

Well for that car, flowmasters will not sound as good and not provide enough back pressure. Pontiac is notrorious for needing more back pressure. For that car, I suggest either borla or gibson.

<==huge fan of the quality and sound of Borla. Not a raspy annoying sound like many ricer performance systems tend to get like these days, but a nice mellow, deep, healthy throaty sound.

The kits are very well made....top notch SS with the million mile warranty. I had the complete head to toe system on my prior Jeep...headers..all the way back to the tip.

Have also heard and seen Gibson systems...another good brand, great sound.

I would avoid Blowmaster. Too many problems, too much weight.

I have two flowmasters attached to the back end of my Grand Prix and it sounds pretty good to be honest.

Have a look at Dynomax and Magnaflow as well.

Are you wanting a complet exhaust system?

Magnaflow and Borla FTW. Dynomax comes in 3rd.

Borla is good all around. Flowmaster race series cant be beat if you have some good horsepower. I have to use bullet mufflers on my Camaro because of ground clearance.
