sounds good, let me know when you get it. Right now im still learning how to play it. I suck at the moment. having problems keeping track of my troops and such. Sometimes i feel as if hte game should zoom OUT further and it would help me plan a bit better. I like the map feature tho! helps navigate the terrain, which actually comes into play in this game! AWESOME! :D

It looks like commandos.
Holy bloody hell what a fights, is it WW2 ?
But the soldiers in black masks didnt make sence then.
How you are managing the troops, and vehicles? Can you add them like it was in RA ctrl+1 into groups ?

I just figured that out yesterday. This game is simply amazing so far. It really feels like an action game as well as an RTS, i feel like my decisions actually mean life or death for the troops! the graphics and sounds are top notch too! YOu can zoom all the way in on the battles, full control of the camera and the AI seems to be danged good! enemy actually flanks you

i bet this game is amazing online with teams. Its too early for me to get online without getting my butt whooped i bet! Heck the AI on normal gives me a run for my money on some situations! starting to dig the sniper tho! :D

I bet a bunch of sniper units could tear up a team!

The single player game seems worth the price on this one! I haven't even tried online yet. THe AI is still giving me a run for my money half the time! :rotfl:

okay i figured out how to hold my own. Actually starting to beat the compuer on normal without much of a fight. You really need to take advantage of the engineers defense stuff. Putting up tank stops and barbed wire in front of your machine gunners helps. Also i found out if i pick airborne as a comander option i can air drop anti tank guns. Tanks don't stand a chance with those things!!!

I can't believe more people havn't been talking about this on here. It is by far the best RTS ive played to date. Its cool how you actually have to plan instead of just tank rush things! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Still have to give it a try :)

But online its different story, you have to rush.I remember when me and my 2 friends were playing AOE, we played always together, if one of us was missing we didnt play.I was Persian, buddy from sweden was Turk and buddy from states was Celt.I was always 2nd fastest because build army of damn elephants took some time. And you had to have food so the castles were poping them out as soon as they were dead. Some matches were 10 hours long. But once we settled in enemy territory they had hard time to get rid of us :rotfl:
They usualy lost the match or quit the game.
Speed is always important in every RTS, what you are gonna do if your opponent attacks you with tanks and you didnt even start building barracks.
You are wiped out.

its a RTS like command and conquer but the realism and tactics for this is WAY better in my opinion. You have to actually set up defenses and such. Make sure your machine guns crossfire on each other, etc....

if you like WW2 games and/or like RTS then go get this game. At LEAST download the demo. the graphics are amazing, and the sound is even better. hearing the howitzer coming in is awesome! :D

I cant judge it yet because i didnt play it but yes you always have to setup defences and support especially when you are playing online, to make your enemy move slower.I always hated horses in AOE, they just flyed over to my village and started killing villagers and my economy collapsed lol.
But i got every time money from my allys to rebuild as fast as i could and they build cannon turrets all over my village.
Too bad we stoped playing, onyx started playing BF and gogonewendth had no time anymore because his kid was autistic :(
Gogo was always saying Giddy up when we were loosing :) and he always managed to save us. :)
I'm still in touch with onyx but didnt hear from gogo in years :(
Oh well, once you get online pick up your friends carefuly and watch how they do play because its not gonna be easy.

I gotta say Rosco i would have never looked at this game in the store if you never mentioned it.

This game is one bad a$$ RTS game. This is the first game that playing on normal really gives me a run for my money. If you ever decide to play online let me know name is Jhigh ingame as always.

the multiplayer is buggy....keeps dumping etc. When they release the add on should smooth things out.

pretty good though, very tough when on line does work!

Well I got the demo, guess what, I suck at it lol

I take fuel, munition and strategic points and still loose points in the game and the computer stays solid at 1000.

Anti tank guys make short work of my jeeps lol

for the first few days (tons of hours playd) i REALLY sucked at this game. Play it for a while and you will start schooling hte normal settings. I still havn't taken it online yet, like you said they have some bugs and i don't want to deal with that until patched, besides it has one heck of a single player!

WHen you said add on did you mean the patch or have they announced an expansion?!

Glad you like it!

sadly i havn't touched this since i picked up my 360, this game still is amazing and i will continue to play it after the wow factor of 46 inch high def gaming wears off! Might be a while, going to get gears of war in about ten minutes!

Anyway the bldg depends on which map you are going with and if you go mechanized, airborne ect....

You really have to just play it to get good, i still get killed online in it!
