Drive C: Error Check

Drive C: Error Check

When I go to do and error check on Drive C: the message says drive
"H" was checked??? The HP guys says to log on as administrator and change user?? Why and what would that do?

I doubt logging on as admin would do anything, your main account has probably exactly the same permissions.

Does the fact that it says "H was checked" effect anything else on the OS? If not then I wouldn't worry about it unless there's an easy fix.

I hit C: Properties, tools, error check, comp is new, shouldn't have problems, I agree I don't see what logging on as administrator would do, where and who are the HP folks answering problems on the HP help site?
