Only played it for 1 game but I think its pretty cool

I dunno doesnt look liek it uses either engine, made by a korean company from what I read in another forum.

You need to open the torrent using a Client like uTorrent.
I did that and I got full download speed.

Dont use torrent programs, so I looked for a new link, found it. But thats for sharing, I thoguht it was kinda odd lol

Its good, you can run sideways on walls and shoot people, block bullets with sword skills an theres a good variety of weapons.

Revolvers, pistols, uzis, automatic rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers, grenades, flash bangs, smoke bombs(kinda useless), Daggers, Swords.

You can get dual pistols revolvers and uzis too.

when you log on im usually on server 2 I always make a game called Mansion Killing, after the mansion map.

yeah its fun but i have been on japanese gunz (JGunZ) for about a year because international has been down.. but now that its back up, i get that torrenting error where it pauses when its almost finished because there are no seeds.. so i have been using uTorrent and downloaded a couple other torrents for it and still dont know what the heck i do.. maybe im dumb? but am i just supposed to download the torrent with uTorrent, then open containing folder and run it? or do i need to get the regular gunz from the website, install it, and put the stuff in the folder i torrented into my gunz folder and then run it or what? its so confusing all i wanna do is torrent and PLAY!

Ya I had some issues with the torrent, try this:

Hard to find a quality host, if you have a fileplanet user name you can log in and grab it there too, make sure its the latest one and about 140ish megs, not the 128 meg one.

after main dl, installed, and then torenting the rest. It actually acts like its doing something but no progress... net stat live is showing that it is dling something albeit very very slowly at about 1-5KB... but surfing is like on dialup it laggs so bad...

Well, besides pings being much better, it already went through a closed beta, so nowit should have full support like the other non beta ones, more items, I think.

Lower pings is a good enough reason for me.

It's fun for a while, but once you realize that you just played hundreds of games in a row with a bunch of people who all play the same exact way, it gets tiring.

i went to the ijji north american download but once it downloaded and i clicked the launcher and error report came up wit the send error report/don't send and i dotn know how 2 get rid of it and wen i downloaded teh international 1 i cant get onto gunzonline 2 register an account (page cannot be displayed)

Register with ijji

After its downloaded and installed you have to sign in to ijji and click "play live" button.

If you try and run it from the gunzlauncher file it will give you the error each time.

thx i did that but sumthin is wrong with my computer n the "play live" button on ijji duz nuthin the way i got it 2 work 4 gunbound was by refreshing teh page with teh gunbound launcher then i cud press play live.....= (

Example: when playing people which live next door to me - remember this connects directly, so that means latency of 30ms or so - i've been hit by grenades and shots 1 second after i dodge or hid from them... systematically

Not to diss all koreans, but those guys sure lowered the quality standard of online gaming with all those pseudo-free government supported games they've been releasing the past 4 years or so.

Well it is beta, and free.

They've updated the cheat protection a few times but they can only concentrate on that so much, I'm hoping the american edition gets a little better support cuz it doesnt seem to be in beta.

I know this thread is quite old but i found it on google while looking up pictures of GunZ.
I play on Ijji North American GunZ, and i must say that the youtube video above is a video of a professional K-Styler(korean styler). K-Style is the use of interrupting animation delays to make it quicker to continue with a different action. A lot of the stunts performed in the video are forms of K-Style called Butterfly(BF) and Reload Shot (RS) both of which are now widely accepted in Ijji GunZ. Forms that do not use this "glitch" is called E-Style or European Style. This is playing the game as more of a 1st person shooter. Rather than the hardcore action that K-Stylers play as. To claim that K-Style is cheating the game now will only get you made fun of. ^_^
