Ok, I used partition majic to make my 10 gig hd into 2 partitions, 1 98se and partner for it, and my new one is a win2k one. Well, adding in 2 partitions changed the drive name of my cd rom from D to E. Now that i'm in win2kpro, i can't use my cd rom drive. I'm not even sure that i can use it in 98, but i haven't checked. how do i get win2k to recognise that my cd rom is at drive E?
Go into Control Panel, Administration (not sure on the English word for this), go to computer administration, check out the options, I have NO idea what it's called in English. Play around a bit, you can find it there somewhere.
i did some messing around by myself, and its now reading it, but when i double click on some things it won't work. i think its cause the cd is scratched, could it be anything else?
