DisableUserTOSvalue causes lost connection

Post by EddieZ »

When I add this entry to use Qos settings (set it to 0) there is no connection possible anymore.

Can anyone explain why this happens?

Edit:
I got it to work, but now TOS/QOS still doesn't seem to work.
QOS packet scheduler running, settings in registry OK (TCP Optimizer). But still no mention in analyzer of the QOS settings.
Am i Missing something here? I got an Intel Pro/1000 NIC that does support QOS and that setting is turned on.

I would just disable qos all together in control panel my network connections.

You shouldn't need to use qos for just internet browswer downloading.
