Question for Innoculate It users

Post by Humboldt »

Hey there, I'm using CAI's Innoculate It v5.1.4.1 anti-virus program. I've used it for over a year and haven't had any problems until recently. About the samne time that I got DSL, the auto-update feature stopped working. When I try to use this feature it gives the message, "Connection with the server could not be established." Has anyone else had this problem? Seems like a first class program otherwise. I can update manually from their site but that's more of a hassle. Thanks

Were you using a 56K connection before? You might have to configure Innoculate It to connect through a LAN or Broadnabd connection. It probably still thinks that you connect through a regular dial-up modem.

I'll give that a try. Thanks for the hint.

Works like a charm now. It was set to get the proxy number from the control panel, and wotks now that I set it to no proxy. Thanks again, it's much easier to update this way.
