Post by minir »

Hi to all

"There's fast, and then there's Atom fast," says Laurance Yap. Weighing just 450 kilograms, the 300-hp supercharged Ariel Atom will reach 100 km/h in just over three seconds, he reports. "But what was most impressive was the braking," he says. "You always end up slowed down way before you actually need to be." The Atom is not yet road-legal in Canada, but it's in the works, he says.

Yeah saw that..I'd not feel comfy driving it on the highways around here though. It's so low...old ladies in Dodge Omni's would run you over. Fun as heck...but I'd not want to be around other cars.

Get bug in teeth syndrome like on motorcycles.

Too much of a chance of debris getting in your face and eyes to be practical, unless one wore goggles all the time on the streets.

Fun for a Sunday morning scoot though, but the price is way too high imho.

Thanks Fellas :)
