I find that humor is a good way of dealing with issues, sorry you did not get the response you were looking for Burke.

These kinda stries worry me, I don't know if I should be angry, or chuckle at the misfortune of an idiot. I'd like to hear the officers side of the story, these two lovely newlyweds could in fact be mouthy meth heads from the backwoods of Virginia. Ya just don't know. I've learned my lesson, when a cop wants to be a dick, it's rather easy for them to be one. I've run into officers that made me smile and I've run into ones that were so obviously compensating for a tiny willy.
Book, cover, judge sorta thing here I think.

Yup....there's gotta be something else going on here. We're not getting the whole story...just the typical media slant of it.brembo wrote:I'd like to hear the officers side of the story, these two lovely newlyweds could in fact be mouthy meth heads from the backwoods of Virginia. If it's indeed true..it said her hubby was on the job...so he'll take care of it.

I wonder if at night that area is a drug dealing spot? They ran the stop sign and faked asking directions to try to avoid getting a ticket. Maybe the cop knew they were there to buy drugs. Gotta get the other side of the story I guess. It is just possible that the cop was a real prik and busted their chops though.

I'm gonna go with the cop/prick thing......pathetic behavior for a public servant.

Areas of town that are deep in drugdealers have crufews etc - this is true in BMore and WashDC. I wouldn't iamgine the charges would be trespassing, and there were no charges filed. I imagine unpaid leave in a certain cop's future.MissTynker2 wrote:Izzo wrote:how is it possible to trespass on a public street?
Thats my question! Where the heck did that charge come fromPrivate property trespass..yes of course, but a public street? That's a new one on me!
anything is possible - nothing is free

yeah but look who's looking into it:
Baltimore City police said they are looking into the incident
the police isn't gonna find anything because then they'd have to like reimburse for the false arrest and imprisonment and because of that the stolen goods. i'm not sure where the law states about the police's fault that the car was impounded or the impound's fault for not rolling up windows and such and liability but there's gotta be somethin there. idk that whole trespassing on public street is just...well makes me skeptical
