i'm sorry but as childrens entertainment goes i don't think that a man in baggy tousers wearing makeup who pours custard down his pants is suitable for childeren in there formative years

besides ...... there kind of creepy arn't they ?


and what about mimes ??

If I remember correctly clowns scare the bejesus out of Brembo. :D

Clowns, clown faces were a important part of shamanism. The Crow Indians had "sacred clowns". It goes back as far as Celtic shamanism, so forth.

Yep...many ancient cultures had clowns. Natives in America, South America, even going back to the ancient Egyptian times....2-3000 B.C.

Court Jesters in early European times....

What brought on the more current circus clown, the bozo look...I'm not sure of.
