got home from work to find a dead dog in my kitchen.
She just got stitches out and was still wearing an e-collar.
She got her head stuck in a plastic bag of dog biscuits.

My dog is still in the mischievous stage, which is why she gets caged up whenever we leave the house for extended periods of time. My wife would be devastated if anything ever happened to Ruby!

I am so sorry. Not only for the loss of your dog, but for you... to find her that way.
People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.

I adopted her about 6 months ago. Little blue heeler. Smart as hell but totally untrained. She tried SO hard to be a good dog.
She was nippy and tried to dominate the other dogs. Partly her breed and also the fact she wasn't fixed, so got her spayed a couple weeks ago and just took the stitches out Sunday. Could already tell she was going to be much calmer.
it's just so ****ing stupid, such a dumb way to lose her. I'm so damn sad right now.

Dang Humby, sorry to hear that... Like the MadDoc said, losing her was bad enough, much less finding her that way...
On the bright side, and I do hate to say it, ...but I thought that Trini's mom had ran away again...
(I hope that it at least made you smile, grin, chuckle...)
