Join me in my celebration??

Post by MissTynker2 »

I hope this is worth a share guys and gals.

In a very few short days, I will be celebrating 19 years of being second
stage cancer free. My prognosis at that time was very grim. I was told I had less than 2 years to live. Well...to say the least..that ticked me off...and I said...hide and watch THIS!! I refused to believe that...and did everything in my power to learn all I could to...put the positive mind into action..and say I do NOT like your odds, nor do I believe in them!!

My very young age I am sure...was in itself a deciding factor...as this disease does not know age boundaries...nor cares...however I do believe...that some of our medical professionals put you down for the count...just by generalizing the "life" normal expectancy involved with any disease. To me...that is a major negative blow...right out of the start gate. As I said previously...the power of the mind is AWESOME!!! and once a set pattern is there..it is difficult to get around...ie Oh! You are dead within a set amount of time (so the statistics say)...the mind hears, accepts, "cause" it must be so...the experts have told me so!!!

I am still a firm believer...that the powers that be...He or She...whomever happens to be in charge for the day ;) never put you through any experience...no matter how difficult...that you cannot turn around...and help someone else through it!! And maybe that is why I am still here. :) and called Mighty Mouse! :p

Congratulations! Isn't it great when you can smite those "Professional Opinions"? According to them, I should have left 4 years ago, but surprise, I'm still here. (Feeling it though :( ) I'm so happy for you that I think you should post that hot bikini pic now. :D

HaHa!!! The power of the mind rules Babe..Good for you too!! However..I will give them some credit Darlin'....I have been warned that posting a true picture of me in a bikini....could cost severe damage to speedguide members :) They ARE allowed to be correct occassionally!! ;)
