conflict of speakers

Post by nocookie »

i posted this in digital media but didnt get any reply. hope someone can help me here.

am using speakers by Creative but i set my default player to Real player.

now neither can be used and my speakers have no sound at all.

could it be the 2 programs are conflicted?

how to remedy it?

in "accessories" and then "volume control" have you looked to see if anything is muted or turned down?

power is on. volume is on.

problem is everytime i inserted a CD both creative and real player windows will pop up and i have to close one of them inorder to listen to the CD...or else both will be playing the music.

but now both do not work.
