BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. HISSSSSSS
Well considering i am east indian / south asian / what have you - I like my own food. In fact I am making curry chicken tonight.
My recommendations - Curry Chicken, Sholay (Chick Peas), Naan (the bread), Raitia - that should do you in for a meal.
Good subgee's (vegetable mixtures) : my mom makes a wicked broccoli, zucchini is really good and egg plant (portha) is really good.
Stay away from Caraylay. Keep in mind i dont know how to "translate" so im just spelling out the words phonetically.
I have yet to find a good East Indian place down here (Sunnyvale California). Ah well I will eat a bunch of chicken for you tonight!
Cheers.

I've never been a big fan of vegetables. My stomach is very sensitive to heavy spices. I cant eat spicy Mexican or Indian food. I also don't like the smell of curry for some reason.ub3r_n00b wrote:BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. HISSSSSSS

We have lots of Indian places here and from what I am told they are supposedly excellent as far as the cuisine goes. When u have a mom that cooks a great foreign cuisine, its gonna be hard to find a commercial restaurant that will match it. Sounds like ur mom may have a possible business venture on her hands there!

Goat curry is the national dish of Jamaica. If I made you a goat curry and a lamb curry you would have a hard time telling them apart.

oh no dude I couldn't eat a goat. Lamb I eat raw but for some reason just the animal itself doesnt look appealing. a Pig is nice and plump and pink, a Cow is Big and dumb, a sheep is nice and puffy and cute. Goats are just strange. Just that name "Goat", compared to "Beef", "Lamb" (Sounds sooo cute!), "Pork", Chicken or its cuter category "Poultry" just rolls off your tongue.triniwasp wrote:Pie, u b illin, goat is da bomb baby! Lamb you can grind up the raw filets, mush them with Bulghar wheat, some minced onions , some salt, pepper and its good to go, served with a little Virgin Olive Oil maybe a raw onion on the side and some pita breadtriniwasp wrote:Lamb and goat are meats that need to be heavly seasoned or consumed with other very flavorful foods that complement them. By themselves they are rather bland.
