Post by Spammy »

Bro im trying to hook up my Guitar to my computer, so I can lay down some tracks with Ea. as well as you. I was wondering if you could pm me or even post here what I might need to make, or allow my Guitar to hook up to my sound card and all that good stuff.

Thanks In advance :thumb:

Rat Face sent me a guitar effects program for the computer. Basically you just plug it into the Line Inputs. I'm not sure what UOD uses though.
Respect it.

I just use the Line Out jack and plug it into the Mic input of my computer. There is a difference in voltage so it sounds a little wierd -

To capture music I use Audacity with lame mp3 encoder (to encode to mp3).

Cheers!

It is a matter of taste. If you are a metal fan, Line6 would be a good choice.

there are alot of amp models on the POD that have a very nice clean sound too ... and the beauty is that you can tweak your sound endlessly till you get what you want, then just save :)

My problem is that I am a tube head. None of the POD sounds have the warmth of the real thing. A/B them yourself and you can hear the difference. The great thing about the POD is that the sound is close...... and one whole lot less expensive than room of kilobuck amps. I have no problem recommending the unit..... :D .

yeah ... I'd love to have a room full of Marshalls, but I'm afraid they and me would be out in the front yard :rotfl:
