Yeap! One person can cripal your whole team doing that! If you get on a good server, this game is soooooo fun to play.

Yeah I was on their server for about 2 rounds last night, one guy, was not CrazyCanuck but someone with a similar name starting with Crazy or ending in Canukian or something...just kept TK'ing away blatantly. Lots of people complaining of him (I tried yelling out to the |D| guys too, but no avail) , but no kicks were being done, so I left. A full server is fun, but not when nobody cares enough to keep the 'tards away.

I've got kicked from the |D| server a couple times now in the past few nights, so I don't think it's a problem at all, actual quite the opposite. Seems to many people are too quick to punish for accidental tks.
It's tough to be a pilot when friendlies show as an open square (meaning enemy) .
During our scrim last night I had an enemy chopper show as a friendly with the X through it although when I flew close enough it had red tags.
Game has some bugs that is for sure, which is why I have forgiven every time I've been tk'd.
For the players that are obviously going on an intentional tk spree then ofcourse ban him. But for accidentals, no way. Personnally I can't count how many times I get tk'd a night. Heck, I got tk'd 4 times last night during our scrim against VX9 and that was with 12 vs 12.
I guess I should add, that during the scrim I tk'd about 4-6 players as well, sorry Spec, IRS
, and that is 12 players working together on TS, not 64 players doing their own thing.

You can run, but you'll just die tired.

There is a color tag bug in the demo.. noticed it myself the other night.. You see Red instead of Blue from someone on your team but usually only after a spawn and if you don't move far from that spawn point. Its still very easy to tk in this game mostly if your using Art from the commander position.. people need to be aware of the symbols that might flag up from the minimap such as the Art becon that means if your near it RUN AWAY!!!

Were you hitting your 'J' key for the all chat? or were you doing like I still do hit my 'K' key when I want to talk to everybody? Because I was on when you were, and I don't recall seeing any complaints. Which don't mean much because when I'm playing I'm focused more on the game than anything else, but I do try to read the text as it comes up. When I get tk'd, I forgive, spawn and continue playing without really going past checking the player score. Unless I see something glaringly obvious I just ignore it.YeOldeStonecat wrote:..just kept TK'ing away blatantly. Yeah I was hitting the "Say.all" key, not "say.team". I remember seeing you on during that time, I know it wasn't you, someone with a similar name though.Crazycanuck wrote:Were you hitting your 'J' key for the all chat? or were you doing like I still do hit my 'K' key when I want to talk to everybody?

EA / Dice is going to try and take care of the TK'ers in the upcoming patch:
"The game currently has an issue with team kills. Not the normal one, of players cheerfully mowing down their teammates for the joy of it. DICE has fixed that, by imposing a -8 point penalty for team kills, and having repeat offenders swiftly kicked from the server. The main problem with this is that moving vehicles kill players too easily. Touch a fellow player with a vehicle, and he dies, no matter how slowly you're moving."
Hopefully, this will resolve the issue....hopefully.

mine (and little_girl's) typical reply to this is "practice flying in single player" or "practice flying on your own time"CoolJ wrote:Heres a question, why the hell do all the idiots that have no idea what their doing always go for the planes? Only to crash them 10 seconds later![]()
nothing gets him madder than when a noob beats him out for a helio he's been camping and then 10sec later crashes it.

Hopefully...just hope they don't "fix" that feature so you can't kill someone with the buggy or by running them down with a BTR.

Yup..hope that gets adjusted. Get some fool running in front of you, especially if your hauling in that buggy, and BAM...neg points to you.
