I am new to this BBS, and I am sure others have asked this before. Sorry for the repeat, but:
Has anyone figured out any tips/tricks to allow multiple computers on the same LAN using the Linksys Cable Router to play on game servers which are sensitive to duplicate IP addresses? I tried configuring one pc to the DMZ, but that didn't work (although I have been able to host a game that way). Seems all traffic out is converted to the single IP as configured into the Router. Any suggestions?
Thanks

I know how for Half-Life. Here it is. Sorry if thats not the game you want.
ok, goto c:\sierra\half-life\valve
or where ever it is, just get to the valve folder. Then, double click woncomm.lst, it'll ask open with, unclick "always use this file, blah blah" then open with notepad. now u'll see a bunch of server things. now, switch every east and west. so, where east is, type west, where west is, type east. Only do this on ONE computer. Now you both can play. Only thing is, you cant get a third computer playing. Dont know how to get around that.
